Detail

Diphencyprone (DCP) or Diphenylcyclopropenone (DPCP) are synthetic compounds known for their ability to induce allergic contact sensitivity and stimulate the immune system. They are used to enhance resistance to infection or cancer and can be applied in the treatment of skin diseases characterized by patchy hair loss and well-defined borders. A harmless blue dye was added to this substance to help users clearly see the boundaries of the application area.

Technology strengths

Solved the issue of applying Diphenylcyclopropenone (DPCP) solution to the affected area on the patient’s scalp accurately or uniformly, due to its clear and difficult-to-see nature, a blue dye, typically Methylene Blue, is added to the solution. This dye aids in visualizing the area on the skin during application. Both types of solutions, with and without the added blue dye, can be mixed together without causing any adverse effects or precipitation, ensuring seamless application without compromising efficacy.
