Detail

Absorbent material from pineapple micro fibers Pineapple leaves were used as the supporting material for EPI. Because it is a fiber with high cellulose content, it has a larger surface area than palm fiber and cotton fiber. Therefore, there is a strong attraction to PEI This allows PEI to be fixed more than other natural fibers, so it can be used to remove heavy metal ions contaminating wastewater. It has a high, fast absorption rate and can be separated easily and conveniently. It can also be used to separate harmful gases such as carbon dioxide. Formaldehyde Easy to get out of the air

Technology strengths

It can remove heavy metal ions that are contaminated in wastewater. It has a high absorption rate, is fast, and can be easily and conveniently separated out.

It can also be used to separate dangerous gases such as carbon dioxide, formaldehyde, or other gases from the air easily.

Micro pineapple leaf fiber is a fiber that is high in cellulose. Its diameter is 3-4 micrometers, so it has a larger surface area than palm fiber and cotton fiber. The surface of cellulose has a strong attraction to PEI. Therefore, PEI can be fixed more than other natural fibers.

The microfibers of pineapple leaves are longer than regular cellulose fibers, allowing them to create a fluffier texture. This enables them to easily form various shapes, such as sheets or high-porosity aggregates.

It can be scaled up for industrial production.
