Detail
Using the color of waste bins as a means of segregation is suitable for those who can clearly distinguish colors. However, it poses challenges for people with visual impairments who may not be able to accurately identify and dispose of different types of waste. In the past, there were no waste bins designed to facilitate proper waste separation for visually impaired individuals. To address this issue, the inventor developed a “sound-based waste separation system” to be installed with waste bins that are color-coded (blue, green, yellow). This system allows visually impaired individuals to participate in waste segregation by using sound cues.
