Institute for Technology and Innovation Management (INT), Mahidol University, participated in the 22nd Annual Meeting of the Science and Technology in Society Forum (STS Forum 2025)
at the Kyoto International Conference Center, Japan.
From October 4–7, 2025, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Viriya Taecharungroj Techarungroj , Director of the Institute for Technology and Innovation Management (INT), Mahidol University, participated in the 22nd Annual Meeting of the Science and Technology in Society Forum (STS Forum 2025) at the Kyoto International Conference Center, Japan.
The Thai delegation, led by Prof. Dr. Supachai Pathumnakul, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), included representatives from leading universities and research institutions. Prof. Piyamitr Sritara, M.D., FRCP, President of Mahidol University, also joined the forum to represent the university.
The STS Forum is a world-leading platform that brings together policymakers, scientists, and technology leaders from over 16 countries to exchange ideas and shape the future of innovation in society. This year’s discussions highlighted key topics such as “AI for Disaster Preparedness and Response,” showcasing how artificial intelligence can enhance readiness and resilience in the face of natural disasters.
