Detail

A spectrophotometer is a fundamental tool necessary for analyzing the concentration of solutions in various fields such as biochemistry, food science, medicine, and even general science. Since a spectrophotometer has moving internal components, which may cause positional shifts, resulting in inaccuracies in concentration measurements, calibration is necessary each time the equipment is moved to different locations. Additionally, the equipment needs to be relatively large-sized as it requires space and distance for light separation. The quality of the device depends on the purity of the monochromatic light it separates and the size of the slit installed in the equipment. If the slit is very narrow, it will provide highly pure monochromatic light, but it will also increase the price of the equipment.

From the wisdom mentioned above, the inventor has developed a spectrophotometer that uses Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) as the light source, replacing the need for light separation equipment. This results in a smaller-sized spectrophotometer that is more portable and convenient to move around.
