The Institute for Technology and Innovation Management Mahidol University co-hosted the MOTIP AMR Challenge Hackathon 2025
On February 21, 2025, INT – The Institute for Technology and Innovation Management Mahidol University co-hosted the MOTIP AMR Challenge Hackathon 2025, organized by the Mahidol Oxford Tropical Medicine Research Unit MORU (MORU), Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University.
Associate Professor Dr. Viriya Taecharungroj, Director of iNT, attended the event, while Ms. Onwalun Lohitharn, Deputy Director for Technology and Intellectual Property Utilization, participated as a mentor.
Held under the theme Novel Solutions for Tackling AMR in Tropical Infectious Diseases in Low- and Middle-Income Countries (LMICs), the hackathon aimed to generate innovative ideas and solutions to combat antimicrobial resistance (AMR) in these regions. The event provided a platform for researchers, technology developers, and public health experts to collaborate in developing effective and sustainable approaches to address this global challenge.
