On July 2, 2025, INT – The Institute for Technology and Innovation Management Mahidol University , participated in the official launch of the “SYNPHATE MARAVAS :Vascular Surgery Center” a collaboration between มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล and Synphaet Corporation (SPCO).
The event was presided over by Prof. Piyamitr Sritara, MD,FRCP President of Mahidol University, who delivered the opening remarks and highlighted the importance of leveraging academic expertise and innovation to create real-world impact and improve quality of life through university-private sector collaboration.
Asst. Prof. Dr. Viriya Taecharungroj, Director of INT, joined a panel discussion titled “SYNPHATE MARAVAS for Sustainable Vascular Health” The session was moderated by Ms. Onwalun Lohitharn, Deputy Director of INT.
The MARAVAS innovation represents a proactive and integrated medical approach. It covers disease screening, personalized health monitoring platforms, and AI-driven risk analysis—extending to population-level health promotion and treatment for both domestic and international patients. The innovation was developed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Piyanooch Putarakul, M.D., with INT supporting its development through trademark registration for the MARAVAS brand, consultation on technology transfer, and contract management—ensuring long-term impact and value creation for all stakeholders.
